Hand Hygiene Techniques

Alcohol based hand rub

1 Apply product to palm of one hand
2 Rub hands together, covering all surfaces of hands and fingers, until hands are dry.

Soap and Water

1 wet hands first with warm water
2 apply soap to hands. Rub hands and fingers together vigorously for at least 15 seconds.
3 Rinse hands with water and dry thoroughly with a disposable towel.
4 Use towel to turn off the faucet.
